Racism Is Madness

Racism Is Madness No sane earthling judges a car by the colour of it's body but by the durability of it's engine and whatever specs that lies in the inside and powers the car.  Humans are like cars, Lexus jeeps of different colour shades. Some black, some blue, some white, some ash, some a mix of this and that.  You're white, I'm black. He's Asian, I'm Ethiopian, they are Indians and they are Europeans... same cars with different colour shades. Why make the coloured feel less human because white adorns your skin?  No sane man does that!  In the inside, we are all the same! Racism is a madness. Until we see the evil that lurks behind the veil of racism, tear down the veil and let the beauty of variety illuminate our closed minds, there can be no cure. We will not be whole as a planet, as continents, as a nation, as people, until we recover from the madness that would render any child, woman, or man anything less than human. #Pengician #SSA Enjoyed reading? Love | Stefn Sylvester Anyatonwu

POEM 227: LOVE we push about one another never wanting to lend a shoulder we mock the weak and spread abroad faint rays of fear we forget that we were all human before the birth of faith and gods so we create great divides and build up walls of partition but if we could sit on grasses and like children share a box of candies we'd realize we all our wired — one to other — black, pale or white we will see clearly — without blurred dots — that grey line between the differences that colour or blinds we would clap and tap our dusty feet to the nursery rhymes of humanness we'd remember what Jesus said "love your neighbour as your own self" — no better truth then we'll raise voices and in unison sing loving God living each other making music with black and white making life a journey worth another ride for all of us #365DaysOfPoetry #Pengician #SSA Click Here  to get a FREE copy of the  #PunPoetryAnthology Enjoyed reading? Hell Is A Place Above Ground | Stefn Sylvester Anyatonwu

POEM 206: HELL IS A PLACE ABOVE GROUND can you remember when you had that gentle, modest, natural innocence before the erosion of isms stripped it away? can you remember when you hit the street clad in nudity and laughter dancing in the rain and chasing butterflies before the heat of religion melted it away? can you remember when the dim light of everything that illuminated your dreams rose like sea levels in the hearts of friends under the aesthetic moon before the storm washed it away? can you remember when you stare at the rising sun in sheer awe and amusement as it crawl from the horizon into the sky before the wind of tribalism blew it away? now we don't know where we are, no green fields, no grin real, the blazing sun shine no longer on everything we do, all over the cardinal, cold tundra of hatred from people knock off our eyelids and leave our eyes to the dust of class, race, tribe, religion, gender equality, sexual orientation like magma underground...
