'RAIN'- THE EPISODE Men of the skies gather to premier another RUSH HOUR Darkness and mildness sets the cinema, covered with sounds that rumbles with power Casts frightened by the exchange of torrent cloaked laughter Audience scramble helter-skelter in seek of shelter for a moment hire Suddenly, the Director calls the curtain, then the movie rains with tongues of wet fire Storming, was the scene the fragile genders could not help but shiver Lightening lit the arena of fear to reveal the opposite left to quiver Alas' the movie reaches it climax as the audience walked on quietened, in quicksilver. - McDaniels Afangideh Please leave a comment below on the comment box.

God's a Humorist - Stefn Sylvester Anyatonwu

POEM 82: GOD'S A HUMORIST What if a blue boy knew that the grumbling sky and gloomy clouds were out to beat him black cum blue? God sneezed Clouds gathered around His nostrils singing hallelujah, the Lord 'rains'. Thunderclaps  lightning splashed ...but blue boy sauntered on middle finger in the air. And down came the rain blue boy's limbs learn to race. I imagine God grinning whilst I ran like a headless chicken seeking shelter from torrential furry. #365DaysOfPoetry #Pengician #SSA Please leave a comment below on the comment box.

Undefined - Stefn Sylvester Anyatonwu

UNDEFINED 'You're weak and spineless You're wishy-washy and useless' With those words and more she smeared my heart with mud. I'm light days apart  from that hurting night... ...I hear her voice echo as I stand looking out the window. She really ripped me apart limbs, liver and heart. I remember step by step how I walked away from her venom. Verse by verse how I made attempts to write it off. Line by line each word a stab on my heart. 'You're weak and spineless You're wishy-washy and useless' I chuckle now when I remember how well I turned out without her. #365DaysOfPoetry #Pengician #SSA

Featured Fiction: A Bang & The Vow - Fiction by Ude Ugo

We looked each other in the eye as the priest read from his missal. I blushed like a teenager when Clyde winked and I felt my legs wobble when he bit his lips, talk about liquid torture. I gave him my 'I'll- deal-with-you- later' look and he smiled. We were too engrossed in our reverie that the priest had to clear his throat to get our attention. Clyde's vows made my eyes water and I could hear other sniffing too. It was my turn and I felt jittery.   ' I promise to...'   I was cut in mid-sentence by the loud report of a gun. I fell and sank into complete darkness *** The children read the piece their mother had left on her reading table.  'Why does mother never write of happy endings?' Taffy asked her twin.  'Maybe it's because she's always sad inside' , he replied.  'It won't hurt if we change a teeny-weeny detail would it?' She asked again and he nodded as she picked her mother's fountain pen. *** I was stirring my cu...

On Lies, Rape and Threats - Stefn Sylvester Anyatonwu

On Lies, Rape and Threats What lie do you tell your conscience when truth pleaded on knees bended? Have you managed to deceive it too? How do you curve your lips when in betrayal kiss the innocent girl kid? Have you managed to twist the tale? What more harm? How many more? When, oh heartless man will you conquer the demons?

Featured Poem: Lover - by McDaniels Afangideh

LOVER Go to Lover, If you see her, tell her I want to love her If she sees you, tell her my love wants her When you meet her, tell her how my love is on-dying When she meets you, leave my dying love To live on with her If love be a trombone, I'd feel its slow Slide right down my backbone No!, Will i live to love her? Or, should i love to love her? If love be an ocean, let me fall in If her love be a trumpet, keep on blowing But if she asks whose soul errand do you go Let her know its from the one who loves her, so If you see her, give her my love. -  McDaniels Afangideh
