Another promising year awaits you as you turn the leaf for another eventful chapter of your life.  With 365 days to relish, sublime opportunities await you in New Year 2019. All you have to do is open your arms, identify them and grab them at right time.  Let there be a perfect balance and harmony between your personal and professional life, reel and real world and virtual and personal space.  To help you thank your loved ones for being an indispensable part of your life, I  have some help for you. POEM 364: LOVE HURTS They told me that love makes stony hearts fluffy and makes life worth living, but they never told me that love could get so close enough,  it chokes me with expectations I cannot meet. They told me that love is life stringed on sofa notes, and music is the language of synchronized heartbeats, but they never told me that love  could break me into a thousand rhythms of blue songs on sad notes They told me that the way to love someone  is to lightly run my finger over that person's soul until I find a crack,  and then gently pour my love into that crack, but they never told me  you could pour sulphur, instead of love into the gaping void that yearned for yours It could be they'd lied to me, It could be I misheard again, It could be they intended an irony, Who takes the blame? #365DaysOfPoetry #Pengician #SSA Enjoyed reading? POEM 362: NOBODY CARES Eyes watching and ears listening Ideals capsizing and ideas conspiring Thoughts sinking and dreams drowning: Drops fallen and dusts rising Hearts broken and love forsaken Time fleeting and hopes beaten Foundations shaken and promises broken Questions asked and answers hidden Souls scared and faces masked Limbs amputated and hands hanging Poets lonely and people forgotten Cheap are the words said Costly are the price paid Walls raised and boundaries laid Faux rules made and reality faked The list goes on and on the truth we hoard and the lies we flaunt the depressed we condemn  the guiltless we blame humanity is mad Aye! POEM 360: AT LEAST YOU HAVE LIFE If by the end of the year you realize that you achieved just a few and gazing about, everyone made it but you be happy, at least you have life If you realize that the much energy exerted from the dawn of January compared to the little gain in the dusk of December, fall a little below average, be happy, at least you have life If of a sudden, you realize that time is ticking so fast  while the year hastens to its end and there's nothing you can change, be happy, at least you have life If after a sumptuous dream of happy endings, your tummy still rumbles in emptiness and your soul grumbles in barrenness, be happy, at least you have life Before you curl into a rumpled ball and throw up that pity party, just remember, you must become a meaningful specific  rather than a wandering generality Live! #365DaysOfPoetry #Pengician #SSA Enjoyed reading? POEM 359: GOD'S MY DAD while the world speeds by  sunlight looks upon me as I struggle along  and say "you have nothing left", because this hurt doesn't feel right but sunlight, you're so wrong, in my heart, I am rejoicing, how I wish your burning eyes could see the gleaned grin that saturates my heart and how joyfully, I thank God when things go wrong, because he'll make it right though this valley of bones echo the eerie plea of weary souls, there's a table prepared for me on the mountain top, I wouldn't settle for crumbs while the world speeds by  sunlight looks upon me as I struggle along, all that matters though the world may not see is that God's my dad and he's got my back #365DaysOfPoetry #Pengician #SSA Enjoyed reading?
