POEM 51: 10 - 5 = LOVE

Her heartbreak in 10 words:
I despise myself 
for not being someone 
you could love

His reply in 5 words:
I love you still, love

Separate lanes 
they now trade:
one missing and wishing
the other regretting and sobbing.

Yet, had she disposed her ten ego wraps
she'd be his in five finger snaps.
